Home School Skating Program

EPHA Home School Skating Program

This one of a kind home school skating program is given at a convenient time, where it does not interfere with evening activities.   It allows your child to participate in a complete physical activity that is different, challenging and fun.

We also use the Learn to Skate USA National Dynamic off-ice warm-up to decrease the risk of injury and help the body warm-up for the on-ice skills.

The benefits of skating are that it helps build endurance, develop coordination and balance and increase flexibility.

The United States Figure Skating (USFS) Learn to Skate curriculum is used to teach, track progress and test each student’s progress.  Skaters are also given a certificate when a level is mastered.

A record book is mailed directly from Learn to skate headquarters for each skater to keep track of all the levels and Ice secondary insurance.

Register early and take advantage of the early registration discount (register by September 29th) and to ensure you receive your record book by the first day of class.

Classes will begin Tuesday, October 2nd.
