Travel Team Players and Parents,

We will be holding travel team meetings Saturday, July 25th starting at noon.  The meetings will discuss the 2015-16 season and direction for all of the teams.  It will be very similar to the year end meetings, with some new information.  Contracts will also be available for pick up.  You can also now register for USA Hockey – www.usahockeyregistration.com for the 2015-16 season.  Remember all players need to renew their USA Hockey number each season.  The meetings will be held at the El Paso Rhinos Training Center – 3945 Doniphan Park Circle Drive, Suite B.
Schedule will be as follows –
12:00pm – Mites (2007 birth year and younger), Squirts (2005 & 2006), and Girls program (all)
1:00pm – Peewees (2003 & 2004), Bantams (2001 & 2002), Midget Minor (1999 & 2000), JV (8th graders and up), High School teams (9th graders and up)
Chihuahua Baseball tickets will be available for purchase for the Hockey Appreciation night Friday, August 28th.

• The 3rd Annual Rhino 5k/8k will be Saturday, August 22nd at 8:00am. We are looking for volunteers to help Meghan organize the event.  Please contact her at mfmr2004@gmail.com

• With a Tier II and Tier III Junior Teams this upcoming season, we will need more billet/host families. For more information on the program, monthly stipend, etc., please contact Kelly.

HOCKEY APPRECIATION NIGHT WITH THE CHIHUAHUAS – Friday, August 28th
The El Paso Chihuahuas will be having a hockey appreciation night Friday, August 28th.  They will have several hockey themed events as well as 2,000 hockey pucks for the first 2000 fans.  These pucks will feature a Chihuahua logo on one side and the 10th anniversary Rhino logo on the other side.  We have secured 200 tickets in the same section along the 3rd base line for the game.  The tickets are $14 and must be purchased at the rink.  First come first serve.  Any players that attend the game will have an opportunity to participate in a hockey parade around the field and the high five line as the Chihuahua’s enter the field.  Tickets will be available for purchase starting Monday, May 18th.  Please note that these tickets will also be made available to the season ticket holders and Rhino fans starting May 25th.   Get your tickets NOW!!  More details will be released as we get closer to the game.
