Sunday, August 14th Meeting Minutes
Practices will begin Monday, September 12th. All players must be signed up for USA Hockey – www.usahockeyregistration.com and have filled out their EPHA Player contract.
To receive a contract, you must email – therman@elpasohockey.org. Please include your player’s name, birth year and team they are looking to play on. Payments can be made online – full, 3 payments, or monthly. You can also choose to pay offline. If you set up an online payment plan, but decide or have been fundraising, we will be edit/stop your final payments to adjust for the fundraising credits. Offline selections will also have the opportunity to receive email statements that will allow for online credit card payments. Payments at the rink are also accepted.
The EPHA and El Paso Rhinos Travel Hockey program will be using the USA Hockey ADM program for practices. For more information on the ADM model, please visit http://www.admkids.com/
Coaches will be announced after all schedules have been completed. This includes travel and select teams.
Any parents looking to get their referee certification, the clinic will be held October 1st. Please make sure to contact Mike Baranyay – epmike1687@sbcglobal.net.
The El Paso Rhinos are still looking for Housing families for the upcoming season. If you are interested in housing a rhino or would like more information, please contact Sean Hitchcock – shitchcock@elpasorhinos.com.

Mini’s, Mites, & Lady Rhinos –
Practices –
Will once again be on Monday and Wednesdays starting at 6pm.

Lady Rhinos – working with NM teams to set up tournaments, games, jamborees, etc.
Squirts, Peewees, & Squirt/Peewee Select –
Squirt & Peewee Travel team practices will be on Monday and Wednesdays at 7:05pm. Teams will do Amarillo, Odessa, El Paso circuit as well as other possible tournaments/jamborees.
Squirt & Peewee Selects will be on Tuesdays and Saturdays/Sundays. Will compete in the Arizona Youth Hockey League (AZYHL).
Players interested in playing Selects will NOT be required to participate in travel. Encouraged, however no longer required. Players deciding to participate in both must commit to both. Selects will still be a tryout basis.

Practices will be on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:10pm.

JV/Varsity –
El Paso will only field ONE varsity team this upcoming season in the NMIIHL. Tryouts will begin Monday, September 12th. Players not selected for varsity will be placed on the JV team with the opportunity to play varsity throughout the season. 8th graders will be eligible for JV ONLY.
