7th Annual St. Baldrick's Head Shaving Event
El Paso, Texas -- Since 2011 the El Paso Hockey Association has teamed up with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to raise money for childhood cancer research. Last Saturday, March 4th, marked the 7th Annual Head Shaving Event. It has become a tradition that every year right before playoffs Rhino players, coaches, staff members and EPHA Youth players will put their heads up for bid for fans to take the first swipe. Each bid begins at $10.
This year members of the UTEP Hockey Club joined the Rhinos to raise money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Former Rhinos Alek Lazarski, Gabe Goodroe, Dom Foggia, Josh Baeza, Garrett Goodroe, Lukas Znosko and Youth Hockey Director/UTEP Head Coach Tom Herman continued the tradition and put their heads up for bid.
