The 2017 Cactus Cup sponsored by Neighbors Emergency Center has officially come to an end. The spring league that  run April through May is a fun recreational league for all youth hockey players to end the season. Divided into 4 teams in each division each team plays 8 games including playoffs.

Every Monday night the competition was on as each week each team needed to fight for their spot in the championship game on May 22, 2017. In the 10 & Under Division the Canucks took on the Senators for the championship. While the Oilers took on the Leafs for 3rd place. In the 10& Over Division the Flames met with the Nordiques in the championship game as the Jets and Canadiens played for 3rd place. Finally in the Bantam/Varsity Division the Ducks and Sharks battled for 1st as the Avalanche took on the Coyotes in a battle for 3rd place.
