Cactus Cup Coming Soon
That's right, the coveted Cactus Cup is BACK!! This year the Cactus Cup will take place of the Spring League to allow for a longer season and for more teams and players to participate. The Spring League will now take place as a Summer League.
Three years ago the Cactus Cup was introduced and became one of the most popular leagues immediately. It's offered to squirt/peewee, and bantam/midget check.
I believe this a great opportunity for every hockey player. Here every player can go out and work on every aspect of their game. Not only will they be able to handle the puck more often, but work on their defensive skills as well. The 3 on 3 game takes every player out of their normal role and places them into a game where they will become a more rounded player.
With less players on the ice, each player will be able to 'see' and 'read' the game better. They will be able to watch plays develop easier and gain a better sense of the game. This skill set will help out tremendously during a real 5 on 5 game.
Deadline to register is March 4th and the teams will be picked March 5th. Any parents interested in coaching a team, please send an email to Tom Herman.

EL PASO RHINOS GAME CHANGE
